Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee direct tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
- Lead tax audits, assessments, and client representations before authorities.
- Supervise and review audit engagements and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, auditing standards, and accounting policies.
- Oversee and advise on transfer pricing policies and documentation.
- Provide integrated solutions across taxation, audit, and accounting functions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members to build technical expertise.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships with timely advisory support.
- Collaborate with management on strategic initiatives and business development.
- Drive process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Skills & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in taxation and tax compliance is needed.
- You should have strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
- The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- You must be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You’ll need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in tax and accounting software is an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of the formation of Transfer Pricing Policy is also required.
