TRAINEE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of industrial/internship experience (preferably in process or manufacturing).
- Registration: Registration with Engineer’s Registration Board of Tanzania is mandatory for Bachelor’s Degree holders.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and electrical protection systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and awareness of industrial safety.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in daily inspection and maintenance of HT/LT motors, switchgear, transformers, and VFDs.
- Support in attending electrical breakdowns and restoring equipment under supervision.
- Learn about power distribution layout, single line diagrams (SLDs), and control wiring.
- Assist in project execution, installation, and commissioning of new projects.
- Strictly follow all electrical safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Help collect and analyze power consumption data and participate in energy conservation initiatives.
