Job Description – TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram

As a Video Editor at Typetone, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories that resonate with our audience on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Your role will involve editing video content that is both entertaining and informative, ensuring that it aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video content.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio of work to showcase skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in video editing software and tools such as Canva video, CapCut, Opusclip, or similar.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humor.
• A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in video editing or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is a plus but not required.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your video editing skills and storytelling ability.
