Job Title: Volunteer (Compliance, Asset Management & Corporate Relation)

Department: HR & Administration

Reports To: HR & Administration Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance
  • Monitors all operational processes and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards.
  • Conducting compliance risk assessments, in order to ensure that the Company runs smoothly.
  • Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law
  • Proactively auditing all permits and licenses to make sure they are all valid
  • Manage renewal of policies, licenses, permits and etc. timely to ensure zero penalties and they are always up to date
  • Asset Management
  • Management of all Company assets to ensure they are always in optimum functional order
  • Ensure that all assets are insured and damages to assets are claimed on time
  • Ensure all assets are recorded in the asset register
  • Perform physical asset verification and submit reports.
  • Manage all assets disposal process.
  • Follow asset management procedure for all assets delivered as per policy and procedure – updated asset registers at all times.
  • Manage the transfer of inter organizational assets.
  • Corporate Relations
  • Managing company’s external communications, liaison & maintaining strong positive relationships with all key authorities
  • Assessing our current corporate relations strategies and recommending improvements
  • Ensuring that all corporate interactions comply with the company policy
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by his/her seniors

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Law (LLB), Bachelor Degree in Law enforcement business or any related field
  • Experience working as Compliance personnel will be added advantage
  • Must be a Tanzanian
  • Must be fluent in writing and speaking English language
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other accounting software packages such as Quick Books, Tally or familiarity with sage
  • Applicants should have a high level of discipline, communicative and interpersonal skills, analytical, innovative problem-solving skills and time-managing skills.
