SALES EXECUTIVE

Our client is a leading company in the mining and industrial trading sector, renowned for quality products, reliable service, and strong partnerships. As they continue to grow their market presence, they are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and achieve sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/commercial field
  2. 3+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in mining, construction, engineering, or industrial equipment sectors
  3. Solid understanding of industrial products, mining equipment, or technical sales processes
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; swahili is an added advantage
  6. Confident in negotiation, closing deals, and managing long sales cycles

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining, construction, and industrial sectors
  2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
  3. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  4. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations
  6. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  7. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients
  8. Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and convert prospects into paying customers
  9. Provide after-sales support and handle client queries or concerns promptly and professionally
  10. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and repeat business
  11. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management
  12. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to represent the company
  13. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, technical specifications, and applications
