JOB TITLE: PROJECT COORDINATOR

REPORTING LINE MANAGER: PROJECT MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: OPERATION

As a Project Coordinator, you should be able to monitor and control all engineering aspects and have a solution-oriented mindset and project management skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Review tower construction drawings
  • Raise and Review of tower construction BOQ
  • Mobilize and collect material from client warehouse
  • Experience on civil site supervision
  • Ensure SHEQ compliance throughout project lifetime
  • Raise boq/bom variations for client approval
  • Ensure project execution is done in fashion
  • Setup teams for project execution
  • Participate on kickoff meeting prior to project commencement
  • Produce daily/ weekly progress report to client
  • Ensure timely project closure
  • Represent Newl in all client project meetings
  • Manage Newl civil subcontractors
  • Work with the client project team on ensuring all projects are timely accepted.
  • To support your expression of interest, you will have demonstrable knowledge/experience as follows:
  • Proven experience in similar project coordination related roles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation and compliance activities.
  • Good understanding of Ms. Office (Word/Excel/ PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with employees.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and levels of the organization, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Applicants must be ready to work at any part/region within Tanzania.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least (3) three years of working experience in Projects.
