TRUCK VEHICLE OFFICER
Requirements:
- Education & Professional Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transport/Logistics, or a related field.
- Specialist knowledge and proven hands-on inspection experience in Heavy-Duty Vehicles (HDV).
- Certification in Vehicle Inspection or Road Safety Standards will be an added advantage.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, electrical systems, engine performance, and emissions).
- Familiarity with Tanzanian Road Traffic Act and LATRA regulations governing vehicle safety and inspection.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle inspection, fleet maintenance, or a related automotive field.
- Experience with goods transport vehicles is highly preferred.
