You’ll be responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting every detail, so our projects run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance. Location: Kinyerezi 1 Extension Project
1. Operational Management
Perform daily quality inspections
Prepare safety permits for quality-related jobs
Support the Construction, Commissioning, and Operational Maintenance teams
Troubleshoot electrical equipment
2. Planning
Prepare next-day inspection plan
Execute strategies aligning planning functions to business objectives and achieving key results
3. People and Relationship Management
Work with Engineers, Supervisors, Electricians, and Technicians to achieve targets
Train, coach, and manage the performance of subordinates effectively and continuously
Instil a “One Family” culture and act as an ambassador for the business vision, mission, and values
4. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily reports, observations, and non-conformance reports as necessary
Prepare inspection reports
5. Budget Management
Support project management with cost control
6. HSEQ
Take responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards
7. Compliance
Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
Follow all relevant laws and regulations
8. Additional Duties
Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor and Manager
1. Operational
Create Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and Method Statements to guide construction teams.
Oversee and coordinate inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct site inspections to verify that all work is performed according to approved designs, codes, and standards.
Manage third-party testing and inspections to validate the quality of materials and construction processes.
Witness commissioning and testing of equipment.
Identify and document any deviations or non-conformances from project specifications and standards.
Develop corrective and preventive action plans to address non-conformities and follow up on their implementation.
Assess and audit the quality systems of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet the project’s requirements.

Train, coach, and continuously manage the performance of subordinates.

Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
