Job Title: Production Technician

About the Role
MITzKITS is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our growing team in Mwanza. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in assembling, fabricating, and packaging our locally made STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning kits. You’ll work hands-on with electronics, 3D-printed components, and CNC machines to help create engaging educational tools that inspire the next generation of innovators.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and solder electronic components with precision and care.
- Operate CNC laser cutters, engravers, and paper-cutting machines.
- Assemble and bond 3D-printed parts using adhesives and other fabrication techniques.
- Print, laminate, and package completed STEM kits neatly and professionally.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain strict safety and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or 3D fabrication.
- Familiarity with CNC or laser cutting machines is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- A passion for hands-on making, STEM education, and continuous learning.
