Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure compliance with security and health & safety objectives.

· Monitor and manage security systems and equipment maintenance.

· Lead and evaluate the performance of the security team.

· Facilitate effective communication between the security department and other organizational units.

· Maintain and enhance risk assessment mechanisms.

· Develop and implement security plans.

· Support other departments on security-related issues.

· Oversee recruitment, training, and appraisal of team members.

· Provide weekly reports as required.

· Develop and execute the organizations security strategy.

· Delegate tasks with supervision and accountability.

· Maintain accurate security records.

· Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

• · Cooperate with all members, suppliers, and clients/customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security or related field.
• A total 5 to 7 years in security operations, preferably as a Security Manager or Head of Security in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to manage medium-sized teams.
• Strict adherence to safety and security procedures.
• Strong network with police and government bodies.
• Experience in developing and implementing intelligence strategies.
• Leadership and team development skills.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit.
