We are currently seeking a qualified, professional, and customer-oriented Waiter cum Assistant Camp Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for excellence in service delivery, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests courteously, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve meals efficiently.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and well-set tables before and after each service.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, grooming, and professional conduct at all times.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and politely.
- Assist the Camp Manager in daily camp operations, guest relations, and staff coordination as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage Service or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a waiter in a lodge, hotel, or restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in English and Swahili (spoken and written).
- Neat appearance, positive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
