Kostiv Tanzania Group Limited is seeking a dedicated and motivated Agronomist to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will work directly on our company-owned avocado farm in Njombe, supporting crop management activities and ensuring optimal avocado production.
🌱 Position Title
Agronomist – Avocado Production
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily agronomic activities on the avocado farm.
- Monitor tree health, soil conditions, irrigation systems, and nutrient management.
- Identify and manage pests, diseases, and other production challenges.
- Assist in planning and implementing orchard management programs.
- Conduct field assessments and maintain accurate farm records.
- Support the adoption of modern orchard technologies and sustainable farming practices.
- Collaborate with farm management to optimize yield and fruit quality.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Crop Science, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Interest or basic knowledge in fruit tree management—especially avocado—is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work full-time on the farm in Njombe.
