Relationship Manager – Public Sector Job Opportunity at Ecobank

Job Summary
The Relationship Manager – Public Sector will drive and grow the Public Sector business within Ecobank’s Commercial Banking division. The role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and strategic initiatives to enhance growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve leadership economics across the Public Sector segment.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across all relationships and collaborate with other bank units to ensure end-to-end banking for existing Commercial Banking customer portfolios.
- Acquire new Commercial Banking clients and manage relationships in line with set targets and budgets.
- Handle day-to-day client queries and assist in resolving issues efficiently.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through performance management, coaching, and mentoring to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with Operational Risk and Regulatory guidelines, including KYC and anti-money laundering measures.
- Lead strategic initiatives that drive business growth and value creation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Relationship Management, including at least 5 years in the public sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic business development skills.
