Job Title: Front Desk Agent
Position Overview
We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Front Office Professionals who are eager to advance their careers in the hospitality industry. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for delivering professional, customer-focused service to guests, ensuring a memorable and high-quality stay from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through personalized service.
- Personally greet guests by name where possible and escort them to their rooms to ensure a warm and welcoming arrival experience.
- Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization and assist guests with hotel activities, inquiries, and service requests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services and local information, including operating hours, promotions, events, and nearby attractions.
- Maintain awareness of daily room rates and occupancy levels.
- Accurately administer Front Office cashiering procedures in compliance with established systems, policies, and standards.
- Process guest accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring accurate posting of charges using computerized Front Office systems.
- Safeguard guest privacy by ensuring confidentiality of all guest information.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and ongoing activities.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in a Front Office Department within a hotel environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy is required; prior experience with Opera PMS is an added advantage.
