Opportunity by Biobuu: Sponsored Fabrication & Welding Training
BioBuu is sponsoring four motivated individuals for intensive training at the East Africa Institute of Welding (EAIW) in Kenya. Graduates will return to support BioBuu’s operations in Tanzania.
Program Details
- Training Location: East Africa Institute of Welding (EAIW), Kenya.
- Work Location: BioBuu sites in Tanzania.
- Training Duration: 3 months (January 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026).
- Application Deadline: December 31, 2025.
What You Will Learn
The program offers hands-on training across several key welding processes:
- SMAW (Stick): Heavy repairs and field work.
- GMAW (MIG): Workshop fabrication for frames and housings.
- GTAW (TIG): Precision and stainless steel work.
- FCAW: High-deposition structural joints.
Benefits Provided

- Employment: Post-training employment at BioBuu in Tanzania, subject to performance.
Applicant Requirements
- Experience: Early-career engineers, welders, or fabricators with 1–2 years of experience.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read measurements/drawings and competence with basic math and tools.
- Attributes: Safety-first mindset, reliability, and physical fitness for workshop/field work.
- Travel: Must be able to travel for training with a ready or obtainable passport/ID.
- Language: Basic English is considered an advantage.
- Commitment: Selected trainees must agree to complete the program and work with BioBuu for a defined period upon graduation.
