1. JOB TITLE: Architect (3 Posts)

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with strong design skills and proficiency in design software, OR
• Certified/Registered with Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong design abilities, including creating models, drawings and buildings
• In-depth knowledge of building and construction principles
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

2. JOB TITLE: Structural Engineer (3 Posts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and other civil infrastructure.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzania Building Codes, Eurocodes, ACI, BS and other standards.
• Utilize design software like Protostructure, ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Provide expert solutions and review structural designs.
• Collaborate with Technical team, project managers and engineers for seamless integration.
• Conduct site inspections, assess feasibility and ensure structural integrity.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and track project progress.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification from ERB.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design and construction.
• Expertise in structural assessments, building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.

3. JOB TITLE: Civil Technician (5 Posts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering schematics
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard codes
• Assist in site preparation, foundation work and structural construction
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Report site progress and issues to the supervising engineer

Key Skills:

• Good understanding of civil construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret structural, Architectural and MEP drawings and schematics
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills
• Awareness of workplace safety procedures and standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to use autocad software
• Ability to use Dump Level, Total Station, and RTK

Qualifications:

• Diploma/FTC in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in civil construction and site work
• Certification of registration by ERB as a technician is an added advantage
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Experience in Road construction projects is an added advantage

4. JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer Intern (2 Posts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in design of high voltage (HV) and Medium electrical systems (33kV and above)
• Assist in projects involving transporting electricity from power plants to substations, including transmission line and grid intergration studies
• Contribute to activities related to the distribution of electricity from substations to end users (e.g industries, commercial and residential)
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE and local utility standards
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical and project teams during execution

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in tools like ETAP, DigSILENT, AutoCAD and Revit

• Design of high voltage (HV) and Medium electrical systems (33kV and above)
• Experience in transporting electricity from power plants to substations, often over long distance
• Responsibility for delivering electricity from substations to end users (e.g industries, commercial and residential)
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE and local utility standards
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical and project teams during execution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in HV or MV electrical system design
• Proficiency in tools like ETAP, DigSILENT, AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong technical knowledge of grid code and transmission systems

6. JOB TITLE: Site Engineer (2 Posts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with structural and civil engineering standards.
• Coordinate with the project manager, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project timelines, budget adherence, and resource allocation.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, drawings and logs.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of construction methods, structural analysis, and materials science and implement safety protocols to mitigate project risks.
• Capability to address and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to plan, execute, and oversee construction projects efficiently.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in relevant software tools.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering.
• Must be Registered (ERB) as Professional Engineer with valid Practicing License.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related role.
• Proficiency in Civil engineering software tools like AutoCAD and project management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
