Job Summary:
Sumwood Furniture Manufacturing is seeking a creative and experienced Architect responsible for designing and developing innovative furniture products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop furniture products that meet customer requirements and company standards.

Create detailed design specifications, drawings, and models.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
-
Conduct research to stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies.

Develop and maintain design documentation and records.
-
Work with the production team to ensure design intent is maintained during production.
Requirements:
-
Degree in Architecture or related field (Industrial Design, Furniture Design).
-
2+ years of experience in furniture design or related field.
-
Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and SolidWorks (mandatory).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
-
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
-
Familiarity with furniture industry trends and market dynamics.
