Assistant Accountant Job Vacancy at Daqing Oilfield Construction Group Co. Ltd

Location: Dar-es-Salaam (Candidates must be based in Dar-es-Salaam)

Key Responsibilities:
Support in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and month-end close
Oversee the management of invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
Monitor and assist in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations
Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders during audits
Provide support to junior team members in day-to-day accounting tasks
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (construction/project experience a plus)
CPA qualification is an added advantage
Familiarity with Tanzania tax law and Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
