HR World Ltd, on behalf of their client, is seeking competent and motivated Audit Associates to support audit engagements, ensure the delivery of high-quality assurance services, and develop technical competence in accounting and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in carrying out quality audits and other assurance services for clients across multiple industries.
Support the audit in-charge in preparing and maintaining accurate audit working papers and documentation.
Research and document audit findings and accounting issues in accordance with professional standards.
Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency.
Interact with clients to ensure effective information flow between the client and the audit team.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of audit tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all client engagements.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field (Advanced degree is an added advantage).
Experience:1+ years of recent experience in auditing or accounting (internship experience acceptable).
Professional Certification: Actively pursuing CPA certification (or already certified).
Technical Knowledge:
Demonstrated knowledge of basic business, accounting, and auditing principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and audit software tools.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
