DIGITAL MEDIA OFFICER-DAR ES SALAAM

Position Summary:

Tembo Nickel is seeking to recruit a Digital Media officer to join Tembo Nickel Project Team. This role is based at Dar es salaam office. The digital media officer will be responsible for the delivery of Tembo Nickel digital media strategy. The successful candidate for this role will report to the Communications & Corporate Affairs Manager.

•  Advise on the Digital media strategy, develop an implementation plan and execute the implementation,
• Improving company visibility and managing public knowledge using digital media channels and digital news channels,
• Oversee Digital Media Management and media monitoring.
• Oversee the establishment and Management of digital Media platforms including website,
• Developing concepts of digital media communications and campaigns and implementation,
• Scheduling placement of content on digital media platforms.
• Creating content and oversee the creation of content for digital media platforms according to platform guidelines,
• Advise on digital media guidelines.
•  Manage search engine optimization and media monitoring queries,
• Ensuring brand consistency across all digital media channels,
• Developing, Drafting, and editing digital communications copy and materials,
• Advise on new digital media trends applicable to corporate entities,
• Monitor the performance of service providers.
•  Establish and maintain a strong effective network and working relationships with digital news media platforms,
• Managing website content publication and updates.

Digital Media Officer Job Vacancy at Tembo Nickel Corporation

Qualifications/Experience required.

•  BA. degree in public relations, mass communication or related studies,
• Not less than 4 years’ experience in communications field.
•  Good track record of experience in the field of digital media communication and knowledge management, o Experience in strategic Communication for projects of similar nature,
• Capable of working independently with strong prioritizing.
•  Knowledge of website design management, website content management and social media management,
• Experience with web analytic tools.
•  Experience providing communication support to multiple departments/teams.
•  Be of Swahili mother tongue with outstanding communication skills both written and oral in English and Swahili,
• Swahili to English and English to Swahili translation experience.
