CARE Tanzania is recruiting for two key positions to support its operations in the country. These positions offer an opportunity to work with one of the leading humanitarian organizations dedicated to fighting poverty and social injustice, especially with a focus on women and girls.

Finance Analyst
Location: Dar-es-salaam
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Accounts Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of accounting transactions, managing accounts payables and receivables, and coordinating treasury activities such as cash forecasting and payments. This role also ensures compliance with tax laws and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Coordinate the recording of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Review supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform month-end closure activities and reconcile accounts.
  • Monitor and clear any outstanding accounts and balances.
  • Manage payroll and statutory deductions, ensuring timely payments and remittances.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Full professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is desired.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a large international NGO.
