- 1. KEY JOB PURPOSE
To effectively supervise safe, efficient, and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment/machines for optimal equipment utilization.
- 2. KEY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
o Plan and develop strategies to leverage on machines / equipment utilization.
o Work with finance team and develop commercial rate cards for the business.
o Learn market trends and advice executive management on investment options for the unit.
o Supervise purchase of repair tools and ensure alignment to budget.
o Supervise machine operators and ensure proper usage of machines.
o Ensure delivery of containers as per shared schedule
o Supervise refueling and conduct daily equipment inspection according to checklist.
o Ensure proper shut down of allocated equipment.
o Supervise changeovers on equipment.
o Work and communicate effectively with operating teams.
o Ensure all operators and mechanics/ technicians adhere to established SOP’s.
o Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
o Apply problem solving techniques to resolve situational problems.
o Undertake other duties as assigned
