Loan Officer Intern
- Assist Loan Officers in reviewing loan applications and supporting documents.
- Prepare loan application packages for submission to underwriting.
- Communicate with clients to gather additional information as needed.
- Assist in conducting initial credit and background checks
- Learn to evaluate loan eligibility and provide recommendations to loan officers.
- Help in maintaining accurate client files and records.
- Conduct research on lending regulations and financial trends.
- Attend client meetings and observe the loan approval process.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree program or Diploma in Microfinance Management, Business, Education, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial services and lending.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
