Mill Attendant Job Vacancy at Kilombero Sugar Company Limited

Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for attending the operating of the mill, maintenance, supervision and making sure company’s safety, health and quality procedures are followed.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all Mills are running in a specified conditions all time of operation.
• Participate in maintenance of a mill tandem and all extraction pumps are running as per the standard.
• Uphold the company’s safety, health, environmental and quality policies and procedures and to ensure compliance and overhaul.
• Participate in off crop maintenance and overhaul.
• Supervise Mill Cleaners and cane house machinery operations.

Job requirements:

• Form four certificates.
• A minimum of a VETA Fitter mechanics certificate level 1
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
• Sound mental and physical healthy
• Creative, innovative and team working skills.

Terms of service:  The successful candidate will be engaged on permanent contract.
