Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager for a boutique resort in Paje, Zanzibar, to lead our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing day to day sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase brand visibility, and enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
-Execute agreed sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
-Identify and cultivate relationships with local DMC’s & international travel agencies.
-Foster and develop local DMC’s relationships and secure strategic partnerships.
-Optimize pricing and revenue opportunities.
-Update public rates across all channels based on demand forecast.
-Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Marketing Strategy:
-Support in managing advertising and promotional activities, both online and offline.
-Support in maintaining a strong online presence through various platforms and review sites.
Collaboration:
-Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, F&B, to ensure seamless guest experiences and cross-selling opportunities.
-Work closely with digital agencies and market representation agencies to enhance the hotel’s public image and reputation.
-Collaborate with locally based partners to ensure seamless and effective delivery of guests’ experiences.
Reporting and Analysis:
-Analyze sales and marketing data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
-Prepare regular reports for senior management, including revenue forecasts, ROI analysis, and marketing campaign results.
Requirements:
-Minimum 3 years hotel sales and revenue management experience.
-Experience of the Zanzibar market with good relationship with local DMCs.
-Experience with OTA platforms.
-Hotel opening experience a plus.
