Position: Science Guide and Homeroom Leader
Responsibilities:
- Inspire and Educate: Lead engaging science lessons for students aged 5-13, sparking curiosity and encouraging a scientific mindset.
- Homeroom Leadership: Oversee homeroom duties for our lower primary students (aged 8-10 years), creating a supportive and enriching classroom environment.
- Scientific Exploration: Facilitate hands-on experiments, outdoor explorations, and interactive activities that bring scientific concepts to life.
- Problem-Solving Mentor: Guide students in applying scientific principles to solve everyday problems, fostering critical thinking and creativity.
- Collaborative Leadership: Join the science department leadership team, contributing innovative ideas and strategies to enhance our science curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Passion for Science: A genuine enthusiasm for the natural world and a desire to share that passion with young learners.
- Scientific Background: Experience in a scientific field, whether through formal education, research, or hands-on exploration.
- Teaching Experience: Proven ability (and love) for teaching children aged 5-13 years, making complex concepts accessible and fun.
- Lifelong Learner: Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, staying updated with the latest scientific discoveries and educational practices.
- Innovative Thinker: Ability to design creative, engaging, and effective science lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
