Position Summary:

This is a full-time receptionist role located in Serengeti National Park. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for handling front desk activities, including collecting payment and assisting guests , managing reservations and booking engines, and scheduling appointments. You will also provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth and professional operation of the reception area. Also you will be responsible  for guests, Check out of guests, handling phone calls and ensuring all guest requests received are completed to the best possible guest satisfaction..

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves guest complaints; assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone
• Warmly welcome guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process.
• Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest preferences with care and attention to detail.
• Monitor room availability, rates, and overbooking situations in coordination with Revenue Management.
• Handle billing, invoices, refunds, and accurate end-of-day financial reports.
• Maintain and update guest profiles, preferences, and stay history in the PMS.
• Answer phone calls and emails professionally, directing queries to appropriate departments

Prerequisites:

• Proficient in Opera (Must) and Resresquest as reservation system
• Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in Front Office Course or Hotel operation
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a receptionist particularly in hospitality industry
