The Adolescents and Children HIV Incidence Reduction, Empowerment, and Virus Elimination project or ACHIEVE. is a five-year global effort to reach and sustain HIV epidermic control among pregnant and breastfeeding women, adolescents, in• farts, and children. The project is funded by the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the United States Agency far International Development [USAID] and implemented by a Pact-led consortium of top global +HIV/AIDS partners, including Palladium, No Means No Worldwide, and WE-HER.

Pact Tanzania is looking for enthusiastic, creative, energetic individuals to fill the following two (2) internship openings for the ACHIEVE Tanzania Project with details below:

Position: Technical Support lntern, Head Office(Dar es Salaam) – ( 2 positions )

Project: ACHIEVE Tanzania

Reporting:The candidate swill be reporting to HIV Integration Advisor.

Contract Duration: 3-Months

Basic Requirements:
1. Educational background Typically, the qualified Interns should be enrolled in or have recently graduated from an accredited college or university The field of study should be relevant to the internship position.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Interns must be able to communicate effectively with their colleagues and superiors, both verbally and in writing. They should also have strong interpersonal skills, including working well in a team.

3. Enthusiasm and motivation The inters should be enthusiastic and motivated to learn and contribute to Pact Tanzania.

4. Legal authorization to work. Interns should be authorized to work in Tanzania where the internship is located either through citizenship, permanent residency, or a work visa.

Technical Support lntern Job Vacancies at Pact -2 Posts

Position Purpose:
Community HIV Services Intern (CSI) will support all case management, HIV, and Bidirectional referrals and linkages activities with close supervision from HIV Integration Advisor The CSl will work closely with SHI and NIP teams to support all community HIV services, including monitoring Implementation progress, identifying gaps, cascading solutions to improve service delivery, and sharing test practices

Specific Duties:

• Support follow-up and document daily enrollment progress of Children Living With HIV {CLHIV} and HIV Exposed infants (HEI]
• Support follow-up in closing the gaps along the HIV cascade far beneficiaries enrolled in the project
• Support follow-up af CLHIV Service package service delivery and data entries
• Support working with M&E to conduct data triangulations between clinically observed gaps under the HIV treatment cascade, interventions by the project, and outcomes
• Support follow-up and track the daily progress of care plans to ensure enrolled Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) have updated care plans and who have been served also have an actiwe rare plan.

• Support dally tracking of key performance indicators, including OVC_HIVSTAT TZNUT and Referrals
• Provide weekly reports an activities accomplished in the entire week
• Perform other duties assigned to him/her by the supervisor
