Role Purpose

The Key Purpose of this job is to maintain, repair, and optimize plant and associated mechanical devices to ensure plant availability and consistent product quality at minimum cost, while strictly maintaining all quality and safety standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of plant maintenance and operation:

• Maintenance & Repair: Maintain, repair, and optimize plant and associated devices.
• Troubleshooting: Identify problems or potential problems through plant walkabouts and running maintenance schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment, and systems.
• Operation: Safely operate Brewing machines, monitoring and controlling the process to produce a consistent, high-quality product at optimum cost.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, perform 5S at the workstation, and apply the VPO Principles and Practices.
• Documentation: Carry out basic maintenance, complete relevant documentation, and ensure machines are always in working order.
• Logistics: Locate plant, equipment, spares, and relevant documentation/systems as needed.
• Process Control: Manage machine running and shutting down procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Training: Completion of 3 to 6 months of on-the-job training (2-3 months minimum noted).
• Skills: Ability to communicate well and function effectively as a team player.
