HEAD OF FINANCE

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and support the company’s long-term growth. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing budgeting, revenue monitoring, expenditure control, inventory oversight, banking operations, financial reporting, and planning. The ideal candidate will ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all financial activities, while driving data-informed decision-making and sustainable financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including expenditure approvals, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and fund disbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions.
• Advise senior leadership on financial matters, working closely with the Managing Director and Chief Accountant to guide strategic decisions and long-term financial planning.
• Lead budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining budgetary discipline.
• Implement and enforce robust financial controls, including risk mitigation, revenue tracking, and cost-efficiency measures to safeguard company assets and optimize value for money.
• Ensure accurate revenue management, identifying all income sources, preventing leakages, and guaranteeing timely recording and reconciliation of financial data.
• Drive digital transformation within the finance department, supporting the implementation of computerized accounting systems and ensuring full automation of financial processes.
• Manage and develop finance team performance, including recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and fostering a supportive work environment that promotes accountability and growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA or Equivalent is required)
• Minimum 5–10 years progressive finance experience including managerial roles.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and ERP software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
