Role Purpose
As an Inverter Sales Representative, you will drive solar inverter sales and manage a network of commission-based agents. You will be the bridge between company strategy and ground-level execution, ensuring high sales volumes and healthy repayment performance through a robust agent network.
Core Responsibilities
1. Agent Network Management

Recruitment & Certification: Identify potential agents from internal solar pools and external technical sectors; oversee their training and certification.

Productivity: Maintain the required agent base and ensure they meet quarterly productivity goals.

Engagement: Conduct daily visits with defined route plans and attend “table meetings” to maintain product awareness.
2. Sales & Market Expansion

Targets: Deliver on daily, weekly, and monthly unit sales goals.

Activations: Lead marketing campaigns in high-traffic areas such as malls, gated communities, local chamas, saccos, and churches.

Digital Reach: Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive traffic and sales leads.
3. Portfolio & Financial Performance

Repayment: Train agents on collection strategies to ensure strong repayment performance.

Risk Control: Track First Payment Default (FPD) and “At Risk” accounts; manage the repossession process when required.
4. Customer Excellence & Operations

Support: Work with the After-Sales team on technical warranties and service.

Insights: Develop a client feedback dashboard to resolve customer issues proactively.

Compliance: Monitor agent inventory levels and ensure branding follows company guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
| Category | Requirements |
| Education | Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline. |
| Experience | Minimum 2 years in inverter/solar sales. PAYGO experience is a plus. |
| Licensing | EPRA Licensed Solar PV Technician (Added Advantage). |
| Languages | Fluent in English and Kiswahili (local dialects are a plus). |
| Tech Skills | Basic digital literacy (CRM, Stock tools) and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint. |
| Field Work | Ability to travel 5 days a week in the field (urban and rural). |
