In an effort to stream line operations, Serene Microfinance LTD seeks to recruit qualified IT and Digital  Marketing Officer (Location Dar es Salaam)

POSITION: IT and Digital Marketing Officer  

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

To provide a professional service by ensuring a high level of support at all times in IT related issues, Graphic Design, Website & Social Media Accounts Management, and assist with digital promotion and  marketing of the Microfinance products and its image.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTIONS: 

• To investigate user problems, to identify their source and determine possible solutions; ∙ To monitor Saver and all operating system used by the Microfinance
• To install, configure, and maintaining personal computers, workstations, network cabling, and other  related equipment, devices .
• To Create user accounts for staff to access the Microfinance network and loan system ∙ To keep records of all users’ problems and errors as well as the steps to be taken to solve the problems; ∙ To maintain safety and security to IT systems and equipment’s;
• To operate computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, disk drives ect; ∙ To prepare equipment for operation; monitor equipment and communication network while in  Operation
• To perform minor debugging and report any discrepancies; identify and report major equipment  malfunctions to appropriate personnel;
• To answer technical queries as may arise from user staff, departments and units;
• Developing, implementing and monitoring digital marketing plan , designing marketing strategies, and  communication tactics ;
• To conduct digital marketing and promote brand image of the Microfinance
• Conducting regular assessments of key competitors in the market in terms of marketing initiatives,  product offerings and customer service approaches.
• Monitoring marketing innovations in the microfinance industry for new ideas and strategies. ∙ Standardization of the Microfinance image
• Designing Marketing tools for example; Fliers, Brochures, ID Cards, Business Cards ect
• To perform digital marketing for the promotion of Microfinance products and maintaining Microfinance  image
• To be aware of upcoming events in Microfinance ensuring photographs and arrangements is carried out  effectively and efficiently and
• Perform any related duties as may be assigned by his superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: 

• Holder of Degree in one of following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information  Systems, or equivalent computer qualifications from recognized Institutions;
• The applicant should be a Tanzanian below 40 years old
• Team player with high integrity;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills;
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking setting;
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Previously working experience in the financial Institution;

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: 

• IT Officer shall report to the Ang. General Manager
