MECHANICAL FITTER / TECHNICIAN
TANZANIAN ONLY
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Required: VETA Certification
Mandatory: 4–5 years’ experience in the Cement Industry
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong leadership and communication
Cement plant maintenance
(Crusher, VRM, Kiln, Ball Mill, Packing) Troubleshooting compressors, bag filters, belts, chains
Lubricant selection & fitment knowledge
Shutdown/major maintenance experience
Predictive & preventive maintenance
HSE procedures and legal knowledge
Safe execution of all maintenance & inspections
Prepare daily reports & coordinate with department heads
Ensure timely availability of spare parts
Develop junior technicians
Maintain good housekeeping
