POST: MEDICAL ATTENDANTS
Main objectives, under the supervision of registered Nurse shall assist patients with personal basic needs like feeding, changing patients’ positions, giving bed bath, providing sanitary round, triaging.
Qualifications
- i. Must have a form four certificate
- ii. Must have assistant nursing certificate
iii. At least one year working experience
- iv. Knowledge of Computer is added advantage
Other Main Duties
- i. Orienting and counselling clients
- ii. Triaging
iii. Assisting disabled patients
v. Dusting
- vi. Bed making
vii. Assisting Nurses in cannulation, dressing, Injection, vaccination
viii. Any other duties may be assigned
Attributes:
- Must be presentable
- Good Communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain rapport with patients/clients, Teamworkskills, good health and fitness.
- sympathetic to patients
