Job Title: Procurement Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary / Purpose:
Procurement Officer is responsible for assessing products, services and suppliers and negotiating terms and conditions. Also, he is accountable for ensuring that approved purchases are of a sufficient quality and are cost-efficient.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to optimize procurement processes.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements
• Collaborate with department heads to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement plans to support organizational goals and objectives.
• Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices to enhance procurement strategies.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings
• Review and analysis Tenders, Proposals and Pre-qualification responses, including but not limited to the technical, commercial and contractual aspects of these documents.
• Assisting the other departments in Collection of all documents to be included in the offer, such as pre-qualification documentation, Technical & Operational documentation, Pricing, Commercial & Legal exceptions and Certification
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment- in replying any query from clients or staff of CFG
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
• Updating of Office Assets and Inventory
• Develop a strong understanding of the nature of works along with project and tender requirements and preparation of compliance statements
• To clarify subsequent documents and to prepare detailed tender documentations in a timely manner to execute awarded tender.
• Preparation Request for Proposals and Obtaining Price Offers from International Vendors during Tender Process as per Drawings and Specifications
• Analyzes and resolves any of a wide variety of problems encountered through coordination with internal team and Client representatives.

• Perform any other reasonable duties as may be required by Management.
