POSITION: WATER ANALYST VACANCIES: TWO
WORKPLACE: BAGAMOYO

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect water samples from various points in the sugar production process.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological tests to assess water quality.
• Ensure water used in the factory complies with national environmental and health
regulations.
• Monitor wastewater treatment systems and ensure effluent meets discharge
standards.
• Analyze test results and maintain accurate records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment
• Prepare reagents required for analysis of all types of water available in the plant
• Analyze water from WTP, ETP, cooling towers and process house.
• Monitor chemical and reagent usage to ensure stock continuity and budget
compliance.
• Inspect incoming lab supplies to verify condition and compliance with specifications
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Bsc. in chemistry or water quality laboratory technology.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in water analysis field.
• Applicant must have NIDA & TIN.
• Introduction letter from local government and two referee letters.
• Applicant Must submit all documents as a single PDF.
