- Intern – Family Planning
Internship Program Overview
The Intern will be able to learn and understand Tanzania context policies and guideline that guides
implementation of Family Planning interventions including applicability of High Impact Family Planning
practices. Intern will then collaborate with regional Family Planning team to translate the approved PY4
workplan to field level-to address the high unmet need for FP in Tabora region.
Reports to: Senior Advisor – Family Planning
Mentor: Senior Technical Officer – Family Planning
Location: Tabora
This position will be closed on January 20, 2025
Qualifications and Requirements
- Recent graduate with bachelor’s degree in medicine or Nurse-midwife.
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili both written and spoken.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, excel and power point.
- Good analytical and report- writing skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and have a positive attitude to work requiring minimum supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork

2. Intern – Administrative
Internship Program Overview
Jhpiego Internship program aim at providing experiences to young professionals and mentor them into professional roles. This internship will provide an experience to a young professional to get good on the job experiences, the tasks involved are not critical and do not require a full-time staff to complete.
The Administrative Intern will have hands-on experience and the ability to learn and gain work experience, which will support the candidate in the job search and increase his/her experience in the Office Administration tasks
Reports to: Senior Operations Manager
Mentor: Officer, Admin / Assistant, Administrative
Location: Mwanza, Geita, Simiyu
Required Positions: 3 (Mwanza – 1 position, Geita – 1 position and Simiyu – 1 position)

Qualifications and Requirements
- Recent Undergraduate degree and/or Advanced diploma in Business Administration/Management or Public Administration
- Secretarial training and/or office management/operations training
- Willingness to Intern, learn and gain workplace experience.
- Availability to start immediately and willingness to commit for at least three months
- Be of high integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Passion and desire to work with people at different levels and cultures
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills in Kiswahili and English.
- Computer literate in standard software including MS Office 365 (especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
