1. Administrative Assistant / Front Desk Officer

Reports to: Technical Sales Manager/ Country Manager

 Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

The Role:

To perform general administrative duties and provide support to the office as required.

Duties include:

  • Writing and dispatching routine or straightforward letters
  • Answering general queries by telephone
  • Photocopying documents
  • Sorting and opening post
  • Obtaining information from the computer
  • Maintaining records, filing systems and computer files
  • Ordering stationery
  • Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required.
  • Acting as a personal assistant to the Branch Manager

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Human resources and information Technology
  • 3 years of experience as a receptionist

2. Systems Engineer: IT Infrastructure

Report to: Technical Manager

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

The Systems Engineer (IT Infrastructure) is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining client’s IT infrastructure. This includes servers, network systems, storage solutions, virtualization and other related technologies. The role involves ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure to support the organization’s business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

  • Design and implement server architecture, network infrastructure, and storage solutions.
  • Deploy and configure hardware and software components to meet business needs.

2. System Administration:

  • Administer and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, including operating system installations, updates, and patches.
  • Manage storage systems, data backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Implement and manage virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Monitor and optimize virtualized environments.

3. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

The Person:

The post demands an outgoing person who will be in constant contact with the Technical Sales Manager doing solution designs and technical presentations to the customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and establishing new business opportunities with potential and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions and services.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
  • Act as a technical expert during pre-sales engagements, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

  • Must have technical knowledge of any of the databases SQL or Oracle and knowledge of server and storage hardware (SUN, IBM, NetApp, HP or EMC)
  • Certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft and IBM are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of data technologies (data consolidation, virtualization, data replication, disaster recoveries) and cloud computing.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

The Person:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead our technical sales team in achieving country revenue targets. The successful candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical sales team to achieve sales targets per quarterly and annually.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth at the same time maintain client’s relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships by engaging with potential and existing clients and stakeholders.
