Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. The role ensures timely payments from customers and the maintenance of accurate and reliable financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and issue invoices for SmartPlus phone sales.
- Record hub and shop cash remittances in the dashboard, reconciling them against revenue records and bank statements.
- Monitor hub and shop accounts to identify non-compliance and variances.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances via phone and email.
- Process and apply remittances and customer payments in the dashboard and accounting system (QuickBooks Online).
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance-related role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
